Bear Naked Adventures is extremely excited about the developing water trail on the Pend Oreille River. The Water Trail Project, a true collaboration between PORTA (the Pend Oreille River Tourism Alliance), WSU Extension Office, the Kalispel Tribe, Pend Oreille County and the National Park Service, will increase the accessibility and enjoyment of 70 miles of the Pend Oreille River, by facilitating small boat (such as kayak) access, improving public access points and encouraging the development of related amenities and resources.
